bass behavior

Featured Replies

i went fishing three days this week for a hour a day and averaged about five bass a day averageing about four lbs and one six lbs. i was able to go out today all day. i thought i was going to catch a lot of bass. i was wrong. i only caught one little bass. they kept taking the bait and just carrying it off. every time i went to set the hook , no fish. it rained all day yesturday, do you think that was the problem?

what lures were you using? Was it the same one as the other day? This could be a problem where you are attracting the fish, but not really triggering them. Maybe a different color or retrieve will help them really nail the bait.

That's why it's called fishing & not catching   ;)

About the time you think you have them figured out they prove you don't   :-?
