I caught this horny craw today on jig. The silly thing just wouldn't let go! I guess it wanted to mate with my jig!

Three years ago, I fished a small tourney in East Lake Toho. Me and my fishing partner had a misrable night catching everything but bass, then all of a sudden with less than an hour to go, my partner got a monster bite that started peeling off line.  We were thinking 'Alright, at least we're going to win big bass money!'. Then after a couple minutes, he got it next to the boat and I scooped it up with the net..... it was a giant catfish. Big letdown.

By the end of the tourney, we had caught a mudfish, a pickeral, a gar, a crappie and a giant catfish.  We later joked that we should have showed up to the weigh-in with all of them.

30 lbs!!! We win!!!  

Was throwing a Strike King Green Pumpkin Lizard Texas rigged, and throught I snagged a log.  When the log rose to the surface , after some serious pulling, I saw that the log was a huge snapping turtle.  Kinda bummed, but I hooked him perfectly in the upper lip.  I used my "Pike" removal clips, and as soon as he was unhooked, he drifted out of sight...none the wiser.  It was a cool day...he was about 10-15 lbs.  "Never Give Up!  Caught him at Blue Marsh in Pennsylvania.

caught a great white shark in a farm pond!!!!!

ok maybe not, got a snapping turtle before, and one time thought i had a monster bass it turned out to be a 3# bass snagged sideways.

also i know a guy who caught a tiger muskie in the tidal basin in downtown dc next to all the monuments!

I was fishing in Minnesota one summer and hooked a small mouth, about 5 ft from the boat a big pike shot out from under the boat and basically cut him in half.  About 20 minutes later my dad caught a big pike when we cleaned it later that evening it had about half of a small mouth in it.
