Cabin Fever

Featured Replies

I am really starting to get some big time cabin fever now. After seeing all these pics of lake fork and huge fish I am just dying to get out there. Today it was almost 60 degrees out. Hopefully I will make my first post in the outings section since the fall. Can't wait...

Anyone else from up here really anxious to get out!?!?

As a matter of fact, we are hittin' the water tomorrow. First outing of '07, hoping to at least catch something.

The ice finally cleared out of my canal yesterday. It felt so good to do a little casting. Didn't catch anything, but it was still fun.

Still a few weeks away from putting the boat in.

wooo hooo.... just looked out my window at the lake and pond... ICE OUT. After 3 mid 50's to low 60's days in a row the ice finally cleared!!!! I can't wait to get out there. Next weekend will probablly be my maiden voyage.

You guys don't know cabin fever. I'm from Ontario Canada and the ice here has just started to melt. I'd say maybe in 2 weeks time I'll be able to get that bait in the water. I can't wait. This winter has really pushed me to take up ice fishing. Good luck in the new season I hope to see you out there soon.

I guess you could say I have some kind of advanced cabin fever. I came back from Fork to frozen lakes. Ouch! It's really killing me. After going down and being on such a big lake that I've never fished before I'm really ready to be able to go out on my home lake that I know pretty well and really start practicing on some things I've read over the winter that I want to try.

You've made it this long, not much longer know. Just think about all the appreciation you'll have for fishing once you're finally able to get out.  ;)
