    Catt is right....back off the bank and fish a little deeper. The smaller males will still be shallow guarding the beds but the females will move off into deeper water after they make their deposit. I really like a jig during post spawn as well as crankbaits......then after the spawn is done and the recuperation period is over

    Actually, after the recuperation period is over, you could probably screw a hook to a hunk of 2x4 and catch fish with it ;D  .
