In the lake i fish i started to see beds with males on it. The bedding has started 4-5 days ago and these are the first one's. How long will it take for the first females to appear and once they do, how long will they stick around?

    If you are seeing bass beds then the females are not far away. If it is shallow they are most likely on them @ night. When it gets closer to the full moon they will stay on them longer.

    Try moving away to the closest deeper water and fishing slow moving baits.

    Just an observation from my experience.
