Anyone used Powerbait Blade Dancers?

Featured Replies

I went to a fishing show today and they were on clearance, 2 for 5 bucks.  Figured I would feed the bait monkey a cheap snack.  Has anyone had any experience with these lures?  They sure look flashy, Im hoping they work as well or better than a boogie bait.  Thanks.

I got some from Gander Mountain right when I started fishing but after I used them in my Grandma's pond I never even looked at them again.  I also remember the retrieve was very weird looking, of course that could be a good thing when your talking about bass fishing.

Never had any luck in a lake with them but the fish in my creek killed the small ones.  They have a wide wobble when retrieved steadily, can be waked, yo-yoed...not bad when on sale IMOO

They work really well in the waters that I fish.

I buy all the dancers I can i never use them as intended but the plastic is the best drop shot bait I have ever used.

 Great idea.

I love'emespecially the ones dressed in a skirt.  I fish them exactly like a buzz bait on the surface in and around weeds.  It has a unique side to side wobble and has been a big producer for me.  I've been really impressed with it, but I guess not a lot of people use them because I can't seem to find them anywhere now.  I would definitely buy more if I can get my hands on them.

Theres something very similiar to this bait in the world of striper fishing. It is called the Point Jude Wobble Head. Supposably it works great for striper, and people mainly use soft plastic eel bodies on them, or big sluggos.

As for freshwater bassing, I've never heard much talk about them, and they never looked to appealing to me.

Thanks everyone, I did get the skirted model, just seemed to look impressive.  I will certainly try them out on the Fox river in some current.  If all else fails, the tip for drop shotting was great.  Thanks again and good fishing. 8-)
