Do you guys say fishing prayers ?

Featured Replies

Im with avid on this one. nope. Not because I dont believe, but just becasue if im gonna borrow some of the big guys time to talk to him there seems like much more important thing in the world to ask for.

I don't think you have to worry about that.

Regardless of your faith or beliefs, you have to admit that there's something "magical" about connecting with nature at sunrise or sundown.  If there's ever a place to pray/meditate/gather your thoughts/whatever you want to call it, the fishin' hole is definitely a great place to do it.

I don't pray but this statement is hard to disagree with.

Well, when the fish aren't biting... I have been known to say a little prayer.  ;)

Here's my fishing prayer:

I do ! I ask the Lord to let us have a safe trip there and back and have a good time. And if its the Lords will win the tournament if not its just not my turn yet and He might just be trying to teach me something i didnt know. Right now i only get to fish club tournaments (jackson bass club) cause im working on my boat and only get to go with someone else.
