is it

Deep water ridges with grass/timber & Hydrilla flats  ;)

Deep weed lines,rock points,docks near deep water,slop. :)

IMO,it's the structure that seems to be most important.

I fish offshore in the summer months.Never a visible cover or structure. There are brushpile, grass, rockpiles, and stumps all over the lake I fish.It is the structure and water depth that help pattern the fish I catch, such as bends, horseshoes, points, and humps.

I do best in flooded timber and rip-rap in 13 feet of water.  I know that is weird but there is something about that 13 foot mark. :-?
