Deep water ridges with grass/timber & Hydrilla flats  

Main lake weed mats near deep water and submerged humps/roadbeds/ledges with stumps and chunk rock on them.

Deep weed lines,rock points,docks near deep water,slop.

IMO,it's the structure that seems to be most important.

I fish offshore in the summer months.Never a visible cover or structure.There are brushpile,grass,rockpiles,and stumps all over the lake I fish.It is the structure and water depth that help pattern the fish I catch,such as bends,horseshoes,points,and humps.

Most productive summer structure??.....anything I can bump with a DD22

I do best in timber and layed down trees in 6-8 feet of water.

I do best in flooded timber and rip-rap in 13 feet of water.  I know that is weird but there is something about that 13 foot mark. :-?

I like to find wood on the end of a point. Or on the side of a hump.
