ok before i start i will say one thing...i m not trying to whine about my problems with this post

for the past 2 or 3 week the bite has been really slow(as in were catching as many as we did back in february) and this is the best time of year to fish well a kid about 20 somthing years old that lives on the pond has 2 canues and recently got about a 10 foot jonboat. and according to my cousins wife they have been going out almost every day with 3 head in each boat a total of 9 people!!!! and to give you a clue as to how this is alot of pressure this pond is only 5-10 acres a few of witch are covered with vegitation.so i guess what i am getting at is that this pond(witch is usually minimally pressured) is now getting a ton of fishing pressure and it is seriusly affecting our fishing....is there any way of fishing or anything we can do to catch more fish while it is still under this kind of pressure

BTW the kid thats fishing is a nice guy and by no means do i want to keep him from fishing

chances are they are probably out screwing around. I would just really slow down your presentation. Smaller baits or even live bait may help.

That's a pretty small pond to have 9 or 10 guys on it everyday.

Night fishing should work, unless they are doing that already.

Your going to have to really work and perfect new techniques.

drop shotting would be high on my list.

If these guys are inexperienced they are probably throwing a lot of fast moving lures. Try the drop shot like Avid suggested or dead sticking a shakey head jig or plastic worm. Show the bass something the other guys aren't presenting. JMHO

mmost of our fish have been caught on platics and and anything slow.the only pressure it used to have was us(me an my uncle) several times a week and them(back when that was only 2 or 3 of em) from shore a few times and maybe the occasional other family member but nothing much.i hope to night fish this summer but i cant unless my cousin  lets me spend the night because my uncle doesnt stay up late and i cant drive for another year and a half
