Kid's Day was an overwhelming success. We registered 387 kids and completely ran out of food.

Thanks to our major sponsors:

Food City (provided all of the food and drink)

Wal Mart - Middlesboro KY

Skeeter

Ranger

Cabelas

And now for the photos.

That's just fantastic!!

You guys did a stellar job for those kids, tell me THAT wasn't extremely gratifying!!

THAT'S how to do something constructive right there, way to give back!

Holy cow  :o what a big event and an even bigger success! Where did this Kids day stem from? Did you expect that many to attend? Great job!  ;)

I saw that motorized grocery cart at the Food City 500 in Bristol a few years back, cool

Club (Wise Co Bassmasters) has been doing it for a few years. Don't know how many.

We exceeded last year's count by about 100. Hopefully next year we can do that again.

It was really an undertaking. We drew for prizes for over two hours.

We received around $5000 just in monetary donations.  All of that went into buying the bicycles and other prizes.  We also sold $1 raffle tickets during the day for three drawings.  One for $400, the other for the Julius Jones autographed jersey and helmet (Jones is a local boy) and the other for a bicycle.  I think we sold $1400 worth of tickets from 7AM-2PM.

We use it as a way to get kids into fishing, give something back to the community, and as a way of raising funds for the club.

Wow!  That's amazing Burley.

With that many rods in the water, those fish didn't stand a chance!  Looks like some of those kids ended up with a great catch and I'm sure they all had a blast.

Those were some really cute pictures.

Looks like the kids had a ball.

Nice fatty trout too !!!

Burley,

It was a bad day to be a fish in that pond!!!

You just can't beat the look on those kids faces!!!!

Awesome!

Keep it up,

Gene
