Bring the water up here.  The TVA lakes I fish on a semi-regular basis are all 7-22' below full pool.

My local haunt could use a good soaking shower as half the lake is covered in scum and pollen.  I've got a scum ring an inch thick on the stern of my boat.

Man, I am so tired of rain.  It's rained about every day for the last two weeks.  I know in six weeks I'll be bitchin bacause it's dry, but 70% today, 60% tomorrow, etc., etc., etc.  At least fishing has been really good when you can sneak out between monsoons.

Rain in late Spring in Texas is a rareity in late May.    Normally by this time, we would have had a few triple digit days.   None thus far in my area.

On the positive side, its mainly been rain and not severe, so I have managed to get on the water every day lately and the fishing has been great in the DFW area.

Rain? What's that? We haven't had rain in over a month and a half. My grass in my yard is brown and I have only mowed it once this year. Usually I mow it in late April and every week after that. My lakes are slowly drying up and the fishing has been off for three weeks. We have a 12 inch rainfall deficite. Concidering our annual rainfall is usuall around 22inces, we are in big trouble. I feel the same way as you. When is this weird weather trend going to end.

Rain?

We don't no stinkin rain!

We got mud.

perfect for mudfish.

Someone send some rain here to West Virginia.  We haven't had rain for 14 days.  >:(

According to the news, texas has had more rain in the past week than georgia has had all year. Its terrible here.

Yeah it's terrible here. It's rained one really good time in the past month probably here, and wouldn't you know it I was out on the pond when it started.  ;D

My lake level is soooooooooo low, the fish were jumping against the side of the boat as I attempted to get to deeper water!  The worst part is there is no deep water!  We need rain and lots of it!

To all of you suffering from a lack of rain, I feel your pain (pun intended).  Oklahoma has suffered from near-drought conditions for the last five years.  Any of you who pat attention to the news know that we Oikes have been plagued with wild fires for the last couple of years.  Two months ago, one our major lakes was twelve feet below normal.  Today, it was one foot above.  In the month of May alone, our state has been blessed with over twenty inches of rain.  Hallelujah!

I'm glad you have some good news, Long Mike.

Mike... send some of that rain our way!  :)

I am sitting in Alabama waiting for those showers to get over here.  My hay bill for the horses is more than what I have been spending fishing.  Also, I can't wait for the first hint of a storm here--I am scrambling to get my boat fixed and ready to go--cause I know the bite is gonna be FIERCE.
