DIp and Dunk Technique

I personally would not try to do this. It will put a whole bunch of nicks in your line and has a chance of snapping your line if you hook a nice size fish. Also the odds of getting your lure tangled up is high to. I am sure if it got tangled and no way out of it you would probably cut your line then you become one of those people that I swear at that liter there line.

I do not see the problem working the senko normally rather then taking unnecessary risks.

You dont have to worry about any of this if you use heavy braid and a heavy rod. 10/10 times if you get stuck, either the braid will break the tree, or your hook will just bend out.

oh cool, this is kinda off topic but what is your flipping combo, mines a quantum accurist and an all star select

Shimano castaic w/ 7'6 BPS Rod

Shimano Curado w/ 7' BPS Rod

Shimano Black Magic? w/ 7'10 custom rod from?

My buddy Rick calls it "doodlin". Thought he forgot to drink that D&D coffee I bought him that morning, but hey whatever. I've never personally used it...

There have been a bunch of times when I could have used this technique.  Im deffenitely gonna give it a try

yeah you should, i mean i usually don't go out of my way to use this technique, but if i have a rough cast sometimes it works.

Ditto, not a technique to turn to, but something to do when **** happens.  I guess it really depends on where the sun is at the time.

i have done this onc, but unintentionaly. ;D

i did this with a senkorigged wacky and cought a 4 pounder. kinda funny, but it worked with a willow tree, but it might be risky if its thick rought cover.
