Books for the winter time duldroms..

Featured Replies

Anyone have any suggestions for MODERN bass fishing books. I got several for X-MAS that were great, but years old.

I also just finished Iaoconelli's book.

If anyone wants it, PM me with your address and I mail it to you so you don't have to buy it.

Knowing Bass, The Scientific Approach to Catching More Fish by Dr. Keith Jones.

Denny Brauer's Jig Fishing Secrets.

Kevin VanDam's Secrets of a Champion.

Bass Wisdom by Homer Circle.

And don't forget your DVD's and videos.

Any by Woo Daves or KVD or the Bigmouth series by Glen Lau.

Sowbelly is a very interesting book if you haven't read it. Kind of surprising to see how dedicated those guys are.

I read on a while ago from the library and im fairly certain its called either "Bass Master" or "Bass Masters".  Im not sure who its by either but just go to your library and do a search.  It's very informative and im thinking about checking it out again.

Knowing Bass is by far the best one I have ever read. I love to read and will buy and read any bass fishing book I can find. Knowing Bass should be required reading for all Bass anglers.

Big Bass Secrets was pretty good. Can't remember the author, its been a while since i read it. Also have others, will post them later.

Jay Yelas wrote a book a few years back that was very good.  I have read it multiple times.  It is an autobiography so its more of how he got to where he is instead of how to fish certain baits.  Very good read!

I have also heard a bunch about "Bass Wars" but have not gotten my hands on it.

they had this book at the dollar store for a new hardcopy, i got one

it is pretty cool....the writer does a good job of giving you all sides of the chase.....

its not really about fishing, just about the chase for the record, but its must reading for anybody who fishes florida bass, or is chasing the record theirselves
