lol i added losing the fish just to be funny. i guess if you lose it, you didnt really catch it so how can that be part of catching!?!?

i'll add a few options that you have suggested ;)

I voted for looking at the photos of Hawgs past. Those photos last long after the fight is over. As soon as you look at them the memories of the fight, the catch and the release just come flooding in.

The fight for me because of the adrenaline rush but the anticipation of first sight of the ole girl is intense too.

I like it all as some have mentioned. I really like the fight though!

I chose "checking them out" also, but there's also nothing better than a big topwater hit in the lily pads to get the heart racing.

Gootta be the fight especially after you play a smallie for five minutes or so. Just a great adrenaline rush.But it keeps your ego in check when you lose one as well.
