Nights only from late April until October  ;)

It's threads like this that remind me of Avid and Muddy.

I fish alot at night too.  But I don't limit myself to nights only.  There are lots of bass that still stay with-in reach.

Try looking for any form of cover you can find.  Weeds, bushes, and trees, along with docks usually provide shelter for some summertime bass.

I live Northlake, TX, and I'll only venture out from 5am-10am or 7pm until dusk.  Call me a pu-tang, but if I'm burning up...I'm not having fun.

Find the shade man..It's been 90 or so here in Jersey and I've been catching most of my fish after 7pm. Got one around 2:30 in the afternoon yesterday though. Find the shade and move 6"  plastic sloww. Thats what works for me anyway.. ;)

Depends on the water I am fishing.  The fifteen acre lake in my subdivision becomes easy to fish in the summer.  The deepest part of the lake if near the dam.  I just go there and fish a Texas rigged worm.

If I am fishing on a larger impoundment, like Lake Talquin just to the West of Tallahassee, I look for the spots where the old river or creek channel comes closest to shallow water.  I'll fish the shallow water early and, as the day heats up, concentrate on the deepest water closest to the bank.  I love throwing crankbaits at this time of year.

Catt, I never realized we had this in common.  I know you are a big fan of the night but we follow the same path,....once those water temps are up, nighttime is the right time :)
