Pretty much all of my time on the water is spent with at least one of my kids. My son is always with me and when I can, I get my daughter to come along as well.

I laughed when I read this! ;D My husband knows exactly how you feel. A couple of weeks ago, we took our 5 yr. old son bluegill fishing and instead he caught a 4+ lb. bass on his little beetle spin.

An almost certainty - take a youngster, your spouse, or a neighbor who has never fished before and they will catch more and bigger fish than you. It is ordained to be that way.

My baby girl is only 16 months old, but i can't wait for the day i can take her out to catch her first fish.

hey man its great to see that ur passin on the sport to younger generations and those fish look awesome. I'm sure if i caught fish like that when i was younger i would've probably gotten more serious about fishing at a younger age.

but i have a trip planned for thursday since school starts next tuesday so wish me luck =]
