Best lake maps for gps

Featured Replies

I have a new gps coming for the car/boat. It is the lowrance xog. i read that you can insert memory cards (fishing hotspots, Lakemaps, navionics, etc.) and that they are fairly reliable as far as waterdepth etc. My question is, which one has the best reputation? I live in Michigan. I fish mostly the Saginaw Bay and the St. Mary's River system near Saulte Ste. Marie. Anyone out there that could help me I would greatly appreciate it (especially since these maps seem very PRICEY)

Thanks Joe

The XOG isn't designed to take advantage of the Navonics chip, stay with whatever Lowrance offers as a stanndard map for your area.

The Navionics Hotmaps Premium is compatible with the XOG. Check the compatibility list on the Navionics site.
