Targeting Bass

Featured Replies

So I've been out fishing about 9 times, and I've only caught 1 bass. I've mostly fished lip less cranks and jointed minnows and all I catch are perch and pickerels. The lake is 250 acres, the water is still cold (in northeast Pennsylvania), but the water is clear , you could see bottom at about 3 feet , and I believe the fish are still spawning. I don't have any electronics I fish out of a rowboat. Any tips or hints will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Quit with the lip less cranks/jointed minnows and start with the plastics & jigs ;)

X2   Less likely to catch those other fish that way and you can hone in on the Bass.
