i  ordered a daiwa sol on ebay and the guy selling the reel is in the same state as me and ebay wont take sales tax because we're in the same state.WHAT SHOULD I DO?

In NY, you simply report the online sales on your state return, and pay then.

This ia a problem because...?

I could be wrong here, but if ebay won't take the tax from you, its his problem.   By running a business the sales tax is his responsability to charge or not.   Is the person charging the sales tax to you? There are certain situations where online sales, even from the same state, don't require sales tax.

I'm not 100% sure on all the laws, and bs, but if he were charging tax, ebay & paypal should let you pay it, as it is part of the sales price.

Youre upset because you CANNOT pay sales tax and therefore you think you CANNOT purchase the item?

Did I miss something?

I wish that would happen to me when Im buying a new $300+ reel or rod from a business seller on ebay.
