fly fishing records?

apparently you have to join the IGFA to find out all of the fly rod records? i have been googling and coming up with nothing? anyone know how to access a list of that sort? gonna be breaking and or setting a few this up coming year ;)

Call IGFA headquarters and ask about the current fly fishing records, it will cost you a phone call.

I am pretty sure every local library should a copy in the reserve section. At least they did when I was a kid at my library

but why so hard to obtain?

It couldnt be easier to find the records with conventional gear. Snobby fly fishermen keeping everything to them selves.

I say that as i plan my first fly fishing expedition this weekend.
