On previous threads about magazines there have always been complaints about the delivery of Bassin' for those who have subscriptions.  Is this still a problem or have they corrected it?

i like alot of them such as bassin, bass masters, and northern american fisherman, i dont see why some people dont like them? i love them :D

Bassin is the best.

FLW is second.

Bassmaster is third.

senile1,

Yes, still a problem.

They are going to six copies a year which should help them get their act together.

If I don't receive a copy in a while I give 'em a call and they either tell me the publication schedule or mail the magazine to me.

Can't figure out how you can mess up your subscription list but then again, I can't figure out largemouth bass.  ;D   ;D   ;D

In Fisherman for multi species, they usually only have 1-2 bass articles per issue but they are usually very informative and well written.

I like FLW for Bass fishing they seem to get a little more technical as opposed to Bassin' where it seems most of their articles are slanted to beginners.

I agree with those who think BASS is going downhill. It seems like they want to piecemeal the info. That is a little in Bass Times, a little on the website and a little in their flagship mag. Ever since ESPN took them over they've emphasized style over substance.

Thanks, Sam. :)

The Bassin' issues I have read weren't bad but I have not subscribed due to their delivery problems. Of all the magazines I've read, In-Fisherman is the most informative to me. I just wish they had a few more articles about bass fishing. I think the In-Fisherman books on bass fishing are top-notch as well, especially the material on location. I also read Missouri Game and Fish Magazine for a local slant.

i like flw.

then bassin and i have recently got into bass times.

bassmaster is alright but i agree with others about its content sometimes.

infisherman doesnt do it for me. i know that its a great mag and very well put together and informative... but its just not related to me in anyway. even the bass articles are written in a "northern waters" slant. though many things can be learned and applied to my own water... sometimes its alot more tech. specific to situations i never encounter.

Bass and bass times.
