this is just basically a statement but I am so pumped to go fishing this spring. for the past couple years i have either been not that into fishing or unable to fish that often, but this year is going to change. i have been reading a ton of stuff on the prespawn and the spawn........and I AM PUMPED. anyone else ready to get out there and start pullin in some nice fatties?

I pull in fatties through the ice, fun stuff.  But I can't wait for the ice to thaw and actually make that first cast, I'm SO looking forward to it.

Haha, your telling me that all them hogs you and your buds were pullin' in left and right last year was because you weren't into or couldn't fish? ;D ;D

haha yeah we all caught some quality fish last year, but we all missed the spawn and the fun that comes along with it because we were all really busy. Didn't really get a lot of time to go fish until summer began. hoping to really get some big females in the boat when the water starts to warm up 8-) this spring

also just recently purchased a hatcam to fit my flip ultra HD video camera on so that i can get a first person view of all the fishing i do hands-free. this adds to my enthusiasm

sorry for not clarifying. I havent been able to fish due to varsity wrestling and soccer and school taking over my life haha. but actually the last time I went to my honey hole which was about a month ago for the first time in about four months there was a solid 2 inches of ice covering most of the lake. I was bummed. I cant imagine how you feel. good luck when it starts to warm up man

I can't wait to hit the water over spring break.  I don't even care if it is just casting practice it will be nice to get outdoors and relax.

:-/ :-/sorry man its just been along winter here and we due to get another 15" on snow in the next two days,I'm so bummed i went through some of my new tackle yesterday hooked it to a line,got a huge glass bowl filled it with water and practiced how they would move through the water

basspro215....I feel your pain.  I got a boat over the winter. I'm dying to get out and I feel like winter is never going to end!  We are in the middle of another storm in NJ.....12 - 20 inches

seems like here in mississippi, it's going straight from winter to summer, gettin screwed on spring fishing. i hate it and would give my left one to get some quality fishing time in so i can justify being the hostage of a bait gorilla all winter
