what bait do you find produces the most bass for you during each season?and could specify the way you rig it please

My pick would be a 3/8 ounce bitsy jig in watermelon pumpkin making short casts to structure that doesnt break the surface in 8 feet of water. Let it fall on a completely slack line and pay attention to water depth to give you an idea of how long it sinks. When it his the bottom give it irregular transitions between twitching and swimming.  

First off welcome to the boards fishing=life, id say a simple texas rigged bait that is naturally colored espcially creature type baits for more profile work all year long add a small bullet weight and your set to go.

I have three favs that all produce more or less equally, I believe:

Mepps Fury #4 Red/Black - From early spring to late fall this bait almost always produces, but line twist sucks.

Bandit 100 and 200 - Chartruese White.  I bought three of these at walmart for a buck each, and I'm down to my last one.  Can't find anymore.  I'm going swimming if I snag this one.

Yellow/Black Fleck Trick Worm (not by zoom, but by Bass Assassin)weightless or sometimes florida rigged with very light weight.  Caught my pb this summer with this worm, 8lbs, had to include it.

my runners up after I started using them this year are:

Pumpkinseed Senko whacky rigged caught me fish in the dog days of august when nothing else was working

Seizmic Toad - pumpkin top, pearl belly, weightless and fish it subsurface with slow twitches, not buzzing it.  Did not catch a single fish buzzing this toad.

My thing last year was a crankbait. Everywhere I consistantly threw them, I was catching fish. Color didnt seem to be that key, just matching the color with the water clarity. Bandit 200 is my favorite!

2. a Blue Fox golden shiner colored fox tail spinner

both of em in line spinners  ;D

Last Season seemed to be the year of the crankbait for me as well, and the Lucky Craft Moonsault 100, BDS 2, and Bagley B2 all produced like crazy for me.  I fish shad and rootbeer colors the most.
