Going on 6 weeks now since I had shoulder surgery.  I have the fishing show TV schedules down pat, and I have read and re-read all my fishing mags.  I got out of my sling last Friday and as my strength comes back I guess I will start organizing the tackle bag and sharpening hooks.  Saturday I sat in the recliner with my curado watching Bill Dance.  I believe that I am slowly losing it.

I dont have my drivers license and my dad doesnt allow me to fish in my boat by myself so last weekend after a whole week of not fishing i woke up at 5 am on saturday morning and rode my bike with two baitcasters and huge duffelbag tacklebox, four miles to fish a local lake in memphis....and man did it pay off! 17 bass caught that morning, i love it when all that hard work and determination pays off, but yes my addiction drives me to do crazy things...like ride my bike ten miles to bass pro to jump on a huge 3 hour sale( my parents dont get home till 5). Man, being 15 and a fish addict has its ups and downs let me tell you.

I have been like that ever since I caught  my first bass ! And that was at 15 and I am 58 now ! So I had many years of going CRAZY!

if i was told i couldnt ever fish again unless i had my left family jewel removed, i'd do it.

I work 12 to 14 hours a day and usually am getting saddle sore on the weekends riding horses with the wife but yes back in the winter I wanted to go so bad that i actually was outside in 4 feet of snow practicing pitching techniques on my frozen goldfish pond.
