Does anyone have any suggestions for fishing old, submerged bridge pilings in 3-5 feet of water that is pretty clear with some current mixed in near a creek channel under a small train bridge, I have managed to catch a 2 and a half pounder in this area with a green pumpkin speed craw and another 10 incher, but thats it. Its on the potomac river. The day I was fishing there the water temp was 57 degrees and we hit the spot during, and right after high tide. There was some sand on the bottom and standing, submerged timber was every where, my partner managed to catch one keeper on a senko, The guy that told me about this spot was there 2 weeks earlier and caught 20 pounds easy on the same lure I  was using and he said the bass were stacked up. This was in a creek on the potomac

try a jig and if that is not working go ahead and throw a drop shot and get those finnicky fish.

Tidal flow is going to be the key factor, the bass will be there and active when the bait is there.
