Three baits I am using this weekend...

Featured Replies

Small shallow lake. Water temps...45? Outside 45-55 degrees. Fishing for bass and pike.

1. Black GYCB TTHG

2. Drop shot - 3" black senko

3. 6" weedless Hud

I am going to try and stick to these...I will mix it up if I need to but I think these three should do the trick.

!/2 oz Trap

1/4 oz. Trap

Trick worm weedless wacky rigged

Finesse worm weedless wacky rigged

Super Spook

Tx rigged 10" worm

3/8 oz. jig

Super Fluke

Horny Toad

I have a few more unrigged rods available if need be.

TrippyJai, when you get as old as I am you may find you have collected lots of stuff. I carry about 1/3 of the rigs I have, I just change some of them around based on the seasonal patterns and bodies of water.

Ive got a tourney this weekend...

Ill be lobbin:

1. 1/2oz spinner

2. Pointer 78

3. shaky head

4. Carolina Rigged brush hawg

5. Secret Sorry

6. A mid-deep crank like a little n or a DT-16

Only reason 5 is a secret is because nobody else is throwing it and it's working :-X

at all times i always have these 3 rigged up. the others depend on the time of day/ weather etc.

1-Spinner Bait.

2-Super Spook Jr.

3-Some sort of soft plastic, preferably and 10" worm.

I use the spinner bait as a fish finder. Cover lots of water quick and if i get into a bite, i'll switch over to a plastic.

But when the bite is on, spinner bait is always killer :)
