Help me find this crankbait!!!

Featured Replies

While fishing today I lost my absolute best crankbait. I've had it for several years and it has outcaught every single bait in my box! It's a Bomber and I think it's a Fat Free Shad but I'm not sure since the writing has come off the sides. It dives about 6-8 feet. It's dark blue on top and fades down to white on the bottom. It has the black dot near the top of the back and a pink spot under the bill. Find me this and I'll buy any you can get me with this color regardless of the size or condition of the bait as long as it works. BTW, Bomber doesn't make this color anymore that I can find. Here is the only pic I have of it.

Yep...fat free shad no doubt...could be a fat free guppy or fry though

It may be a guppy but I'm not sure.  I know it's not the fry because I have some of those and it's bigger in size than them.

I've got several foxy shad but this color replicates the blue back herring shad in a couple of lakes I fish and outfishes basically everything in my box when the crankbait bite is on.

Found one. I just placed a modified Daiichi Bleeding Treble on the back. Shoot me your address and its yours.

BigBassGuy, that is about as close as I've found but it isn't the exact color.  I am gonna buy them though.  Thanks!

BassNman Mike, pm sent!

Definitely a Fat Free Shad, but are you sure it's Bomber and not from the Excalibur era? If it's one of the old Excalibur colors, it's likely discontinued, but if it's one of the Bomber colors, you should still be able to find it.
