I am new to this site but old to the water! I can still use improvements!....... tips, advice, or new baits that work for you!  ;D

At the top of this page "Fishing Articles" would be a good place to start, a whole library! There is a "Search" function that would be a big help also. WELCOME to the forums!!!

WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big question. Where do you fish??????????????????

Welcome aboard, and like stated above, be as specific as possible on questions, to get the best answers.

Welcome.  If I was starting all over again I would go to *** website, a forum sponsor and order 50 green pumpkin bush bugs and trick sticks.  Fish the sticks on a weightless t-rig and the bugs on a normal t-rig w/ your preferred weight.  That will have you catching fish and learning two very imporant soft plastic rigs.

1.  Watch fishing shows on Saturday mornings.

2. Read all articles on this site.

3. Read all posts on this site.

4.  Read some fishing technique books.

5.  Watch some fishing technique DVDs or videos.

6.  Suscribe to Bassin' Magazine.

7.  Go to the Bassmasters website and read and listen to the articles.

8.  Go to you favorite pros websites and read their articles.

9.  Go to the different fishing blogs for specific bodies of water that you fish and read those posts.

10. Go to a fishing clinic or seminar either at Bass Pro Shops, Gander Mountain, your state department of game and inland fisheries or any other seminars in your area.

But the best thing you can do to learn how to be a better fisherman is to......fish.

So get off your duff, turn off this silly computer, and hit a local pond and practice, practice and practice your casting and techniques. Practice tieing a Palamor Knot or a Chinch Knot or an Albright Knot or a Uni Knot.

Just go out and fish1 :)
