I wish they would restock the stores that they are keeping open. I went to the one in Columbia, SC this week and I couldn't find anything that I was looking for. The shelves seemed empty. I know that they filed for bankruptcy but you can't make money if you don't have anything to sell.

from what i understood from 1 of the employees was that the stores in my area had stopped getting a lot of items in long before they declared bankruptcy.

The store here in Grand Junction is still open but they don't restock as much.

The one in Rocklin, CA is the same ( I know a manager lurks on this site... so if you are reading this, please take note of my disappointment.)  I went in Thursday night to pick up about $100 worth of various stuff I needed.  I walked out with a bottle of water, some jerky, and a bag of tubes, none of which were on my list.  I know the company is going through a rough time, but for those stores staying open why would they stock the bare minimum.  For heavens sake there "Rapala" section was nearly empty and I've seen gas stations that had a better trout fishing section than SW did.  I mean seriously, every yuppie bank beating bucket grabber thrives off of rapalas, kastmaster, and panther martins...  I think i'm just going to wal mart from now on when I need something right now!!!

....Rant over!!

If they could restock they would. Its tough to get new product shipped when you dont have the cash flow and you dont look like a good candidate for credit (Columbia is suing the owners for $600k for product that was not paid for)
