8-)

straight tail roboworms in chart/pepper i think and use a 1/16oz weight hook. almost garunteed

throw rebel craws in the deeper parts

I've also been throwing beatle spins (1/4oz) with a three inch white powergrub on it. been working well for me.

good luck!

For float trips I am a huge fan of the mini fat raps (crawdad) and the 2" jointed rapalas (gold or silver color).

When I fished those OH streams I had the best luck on the fat raps.  But those are both versitile baits that were made for floating and fishing.

I sometimes slow it down with a 1/16 oz jig head and black grub.

Zoom fat alberts--Green Pumkin-cotton candy-pumkinseed

rigged either texas with 1/16 ounce weight and 2/0 hook

    carolina if theres weeds

    or a 1/8 ounce jighead

4 inch lizards--green pumkin-pumkin seed/chartreuse tail-

watermelon red flake

You can rig these the same as the fat alberts

1/8 or 1/4 ounce spinnerbaits-- white--shad--chartruese--baby bass

I find gold blades work better for smallies, thats the way it is here

Good luck! Let us know how ya do, I know theres some huge smallies in large creeks also!
