I am coming to the bay for the first time on April 30 though May 2 do you think the smallies will be in the area around then or no.  If so what kind of bait should I use to catch them.  I typically fish on LSC and tubes usually do really well there.  Is that a good bait for the bay.  Any information would be great.

Your timing should be great. If your comfortable using tubes on LSC try them on PIB. Jerk baits will work also.

OMG, IMHO I would ask what would KVD do on LSC or PIB. lol

Just Kidding!  Tubes, Hard jerkbaits, Blades, spinnerbaits and traps on he drop offs can be the ticket. Give the flats at the west end a try also. The pike should also be in the lagoons at that time.
