follow the leader?

Featured Replies

I was watching a school of bass work a shoreline from 75' above, so I don't think they saw me. When one surfaced, all of them followed suit, does anyone know why?

Is it like when the lead bird in a flock makes a hard turn for an insect, and the rest of the flock follows hoping for a meal?

Probably busting a school of shad.

I agree with RW. Once one fish starts to feed, the others usually follow suit. We have a cabela's locally, and I have witnessed this on numerous occasions in the large tank that is filled with bass and shiners.
