Pretty sure its real. Pike are definitely cannibals and I've had then hit a pos pike swimbait I got as a gift one year.

Very Cool...I once had a porpoise eat a speckled trout I had hooked...that darn thing then spooled me so quick I didnt stand a chance!

That picture has been around for decades.

Truly big pike subsist on smaller pike, in some populations. In fact, they are what keep the smaller pike in check. That is the problem with bad catch and release tactics or harvesting of large pike. By removing the larger pike in the system, you create a dink factory, because the population depends on larger pike eating the smaller pike.

Cool, huh?
