Quick, simple, neat fix. Heat shrink tubing. Get the smallest size that will accomodate the lace. Cut into inch long pieces, slip over the end of the lace, apply heat, done. No more fussing around with electrical tape for me.

Or you could just break down and buy new shoelaces for the cost of the heat shrink... unless of course you're savin' up for your road trip...

True, but I'd have to get the shoelaces. I have the heat shrink in stock.

I usually just hit the tips with a lighter for a few seconds.

That's what I do. May not look the best, but it works.

I thought Team Depends just use velcro now a day's? No need to bend over for long periods of time.
