Roadtrip 2011

Featured Replies

Well another Roadtrip is complete, 3rd one for me and as usual had a great time. We struggled with high winds most of the week and were able to put a bit of a pattern together to average 16 bass per day with 10 per day as keepers. The key for us was wind blown main lake points, not fun with wind gusts from 20-30 MPH on some days. Caught a variety of fish, Hybrid, Snagged Alligator Gar, Crappie on a Crankbait and of couse SMB and LMB. Most of the week a spinner bait bite was hot. On our last day I dedicated myself to a Keel Weighted Rage Tail Craw and it produced the largest bass of the week. Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure. If you ever have the opportunity to fish Kentucky Lake do not hesitate, it is a great fishery.
