I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the letters mean at the end of shimano model numbers? Specifically I have a Curado 301DSV. I was just reading someone's post about a 200DPV. I know the number refers to the size, and the first letter is the series. What are the other letters?

    D= Series designator

    PV = Power Version

    SV= Saltwater Version

    There is also the DHSV, which is what I have and it means the Curado D, High Speed Version.
