Cobia give a good accounting of themselves, a formidable opponent. Most of the fish out here caught on med spinning gear are lots of fun, but sometimes I need to go to a conventional rig, been spooled 3 times in the last month or so on spinning, you never know what is going to be on the end of the hook.

I gave the fish to my fishing partner, alond with a couple of yellowtail.........taking my wife out for a corned beef sandwich.....lol

Honestly I'm not crazy for fish, after my Dad being in the fish biz for 40 years and me cleaning everything under the son, I'd rather go to Morton's......lol.

But I just love catching them........

I've got 2 of them in the last 10 days a 40# and a 25# and between the grill and everybody wanting some, lets just say I need to go catch another one. LOL
