Pinchot Help

Featured Replies

So today myself and a friend of mine hit Pinchot lake. We mostly fished the South West side of the lake ( boat launch off of route 177 I think it is. Needless to say we had a total of one hit all day. We were fishing in the Lilly's and underwater branches using jigs, plastic worms and frogs. Not able to boat anything. R we fishing the wrong spots with the wrong lures or what? Thanks in advance!

FINALLY boated a few today..one of which was a 4lb bass. If your fishing there and are having a hard time i recomend fishing the grass with a natural looking worm or tube worm. Good Luck all!

Haven't fished that lake, but in general fish seem a little later than usual in moving shallow and spawning. Check some deeper staging areas and look for active beds.

Think I'm headed there next week. Never been there so excited to check it out.

My structure maps will show you great detail of the upper flats of Rt.177 area or upper 3rd that holds the better water.
