I'm thinking about getting this rod. Can anyone comment on the sensitivity? How much is lost compared to other models because it's telescopic?

    Hi Sam,

    Sorry for the delay in answering your question. There will be a loss of transfer of energy since the rod is not a 1 piece. How much of a loss? Very hard to quantify the exact amount. The telescopic models were designed for those that wanted to fish longer rods but storage posed a problem.
