Broken Crankbait Rod!!!

Featured Replies

Soo I broke my crankbait rod on a weed yesterday, and I need another one. I used this one for all my crankbaits and my jerkbaits (it wasnt glass). Does anyone have any suggestions. I dont wanna spend more then around 100 bucks. any suggestions are welcome!...We have a KVD Crankin rod with the half graphite half glass in my store its a 7'0 medium that sells for 129$. I could probably get it for 100 but Idk if that would be a good choice for jerkbaits infact I dont think it would. So please help me decide!!!

I like short M/XF for jerkbaits, and a long MH/MF for cranks.

For both in a compromise I would get a 7' M/F or MH/F depending on your lure weight range

Compre CPC-C70MB. 7', M action, MF taper. its my go to for any lipped treble hook bait 1/2 oz. and lighter. this rod with a good baitcaster will toss a 5/16 oz. crank into next week.
