I'm bummed that I didn't get to watch most of the playoffs but the Mavs where my main concern though I am more of a Hockey fan than anything else.

Was a great game for a while tonight. Some completely classless fans in that building tonight though. Booed the entire time the trophies were being handed out. I know I'm not the only one who saw the stuff flying from the stands when Chara was hoisting the trophy. Sad.

That's what I'm talking about - Heck of a Playoff run for the Bruins !

After losing the first 2 games to Montreal at home in the first round, winning the cup wasn't looking too promising. And them winning Three game 7's, including the Finals on the road - Unreal.

But what's up with the runner-ups ?

The fans turned their frustration over losing Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals into a riot-filled evening on the city's streets, complete with overturning and burning police vehicles and engaging in widespread looting.

After seeing what happen when they lost the cup I'd hate to see what would have happen had they lost the gold in the last winter games.

Shaved my playoff beard this morning in a joyous stupor. The team, the city, its fans, the organization, deserve it. WE are the biggest sports city in America/the world. No doubt. Cue the duckboats!

P.S.Canucks- Have you ever seen a more classless bunch of fans ever? It is probably the most despicable thing I have seen in a long time. Not only that, but a bruins fan was thrown off an overpass and killed during the riots, and there has been at least 4 stabbings of bruins fans. If you are a Canucks fan, I hope you are ashamed of yourself, your country, and your fans (oh and your team ).

It's hard to believe that the Hockey Gods are going to forgive and forget this really bad display of senseless violence. It's just foolish - and mimics the way their team played in the finals - self-destructive.

Congrats Bruins and Boston! What a ride and a great way end to a great season. Boston has longed for a Stanley Cup win for a long time. Bruins fans finally got it! Go Bruins! Go Boston!

Yeah, it was pretty bad. I grew up in the 70's watching and reading about the Sox & Yanks and it was pretty violent, but the peeps in Vancouver went WAY over the top. I saw some news footage this morning and it look like I was watching The Warriors again...LOL

I was listening to sports radio and some guy was asking if, after planning his wedding for months and the wedding was this Saturday, "you think it would be ignorant if I postponed the wedding so he could go to the parade"? So the advice was to DVR the parade on tv. Some guy texted in and said to DVR the wedding and go to the parade...LMAO
