hey everyone,

im jake and i am a Navy recruiter. I'm just getting into bass fishing (seriously anyway) for the first time. i used to toss a crank bait when i was younger but now that im back in TX and not next to a coast line im getting into the bass arena. I just bought my first bass boat and im giving it my best, not much luck thus far. Im in central tx and the lakes i have access to are pretty low and tough to fish with the exception of o.h. ivie. ive used this site a couple times to learn things like the tx and carolina rigs but still not to sure how i should be using said rigs. any help would be greatly appreciated and i look forward to being part of this great sport.
