Storing Soft Swimbaits

Featured Replies

Besides the original packaging has anyone been able to find an effective way of storing their swimbaits without bending the tails?

I'm struggling with that myself. Ideally, leaving them in their original packages is probably the best. I packed a 3700 box full and am getting lots of bent tails so I've had to dip them in boiling water to regain their original shape.

I wonder how he finds his baits if theyre all jumble up like that haha and I bet he has a bunch of bent tails in there!

I just keep mine in a standard 3700 box. If the tails get bent, I just hang them in boiling water for about 1 min..good as new, with more action..also use a scent like Megastrike on your soft baits, keeps em soft and supple. :D
