Okay, don't throw stones yet. My co-worker is looking for a Popiel Pocket Fisherman for a collectors thing. He comes up with the strangest stuff and this is one of them. I just sold my last one. Kidding. If anyone has one and is willing to part with such a well known piece of Americana let me know. I won't even take a finder's fee.

What a piece o' crap! I replaced it with an old Zebco 33 Classic and a Shimano 'glass rod. It was a VAST improvement.

She still gets ticked when I laugh about her Popiel Pocket Fisherman.

I have the 90's version, the "Instant Fisherman" brand new still in the box complete with a Helicopter Lure starter set that came with it. Got it as a gift. What a joke. That's the equivalent of buying a woman a toilet scrub brush set for her birthday...

Don't see them around much, might have to go straight to G Loomis and order one.
