Motor Squeaking When Turning

Like the title says my motor or part of the steering is squeaking when I'm turning. I have a 60hp '06 4 stroke Merc and it is only squeaking when I'm turning at slow speeds. It has only done it the last couple trips and doesn't seem to affect the handling at all but just wondering if anyone knew what it might be and if it's something I should look at getting fixed?

Not sure about Mercs but Yamaha has a grease fitting on the shaft the motor rotates around. There is a shaft that is directly behind the mounting plate, when the engine is turned it rotates around the shaft. Look for a zirc fitting................Al
