Headhunter, most likely you will have to go south into Dade County. The winterkill from the past two years pretty much decimated the peacock population north of the county line. The lakes across the highway from the Miami airport (you can put in at Macias Park off 7th), and the adjacent canals are probably a good bet. Some of our guys have had some success in SW Broward and South Broward but I think that is residential private lakes.

I'm in Delray, gotta admit I haven't been concentrating on bass at all, I don't start fishing for them until Nov or Dec.

nice yea delray is super nice but I seen all little guys I fished it a little bit but noting I meen if there is little guy mama and daddy most be somewhere you know I just remember catching them a while ago and they are a super fun fish . thats why im looking to catch some again ..

The Miami airport lakes and the adjacent canals are probably your best bet. The john boat is perfect in there. The ramp is usually a hot spot for the jet skiers and they can act like they own the place.
