Rage Tail Craws Make The Trip

Featured Replies

I put down the smallie stuff for a couple of days and went after LM. Flipping a rage tail craw was the ticket. Nice bait with a cool action. Found them a bit soft/easy to tear in the reeds/tules/rice so I could see some expensive days coming up! Didn't catch any huge fish but caught over 40 over the 2 days. The rage craw is definitely part of my arsenal now. Thanks all for the heads up in the posts.

The only pic I have...set the hook through the LM cheek and grabbed rice! had to pry out the 12 incher. gotta love 65lb PP.

Is there any water under all those weeds? I love flipping weeds but we don't get anything nearly that thick around here, lots of fun to haul any size fish out of that stuff.

Sounded like you had a fine day WTG... and glad you like the Craws!

BB86...yes, about 3ft. makes for a fun day. rice and reeds...lots of it around with nice depth under it. we throw back 20+ft into it some days. exciting times.

BigO...those 2 days were fun. the craws are definitely a nice flipping bait.

thanks.

Might ck out the Lobster and the Smokin Rooster... They're my favorite flippers to date ;)
