What Is Your Favorite Pic Of A Friend's Smallie Pb?

Featured Replies

Long time fishing buddy came up to fish for smallies. Kept telling me he would be happy to catch a five pounder but I knew better. In two days he caught two over 6lbs & one over 7lb. Roy's 7lb-1oz was only 21" long but had a 17" girth. My second favorite friends pb was actually my wife's best smallie. While fighting the fish she tripped over my tackle bag & fell on her butt while backing up so I could net it for her. . Luckily she kept the rod pointed up as she fell & the fish stayed buttoned up until she got back on her feet & I could net it. Pretty funny when it happened but she did get the fish in the boat.

I didn't take this picture, but it was posted on NYBASS today. Caught on the Upper Niagara while on charter with Paul Castanelo. 8 lbs. even.

That is an absolute stunning smallie! It would have been release unharmed, but also had a replica mount made for me to have memories forever!
