Need Idea For Inexpensive Cup Holders

Featured Replies

I want to add a couple of cup holders to my little boat but don't want to pay $12 like they have in BPS. Is there some way to make one, or adapt something that is pre made and cheap.

Look in the auto section at wally world. They normally have something made for a car or truck that could be adapted, and much less than $12.

I bought a 4 pack of those cup holders that hook to the window of a car for only $2. I had no idea they still made those things. Thanks for the idea.

If you don't mind drilling in your boat, I would bolt mount them. They don't seem to hold a large cup of coffee and not only that they slide all over the place.

You can try some Velcro before trying a small bolt just to if will work or help.

Have you ever seen the velcro type things that come with an easy pass to mount them on your windshield? You might have to order them online but I think it would be worth it if you don't want to drill you boat. Instead of having one side fuzzy, both sides are semi-rigid plastic. They sorta fit together like a lego piece. They're made by 3m. Glad I could help.

I altered them a bit and then screwed them on to the wood benches. They work great for pop and water bottles, and even work well for stink bait.
