Calcutta baits

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever used these? Local store has soft baits (worms, creatures) and jigs (hair, crickets) and jig heads. Prices are reasonable but don't want to waste money if better are out there.

Thanks

I tried the Calcutta 4" swimbaits a few years back in Florida and got skunked but brought them to MI and absolutely nailed the pike with them. Their swimbaits are just like the Storm Swim shad. I don't know about their other gear. I guess if its cheap just try a bag of something and let the rest of us know what you think. If its the same price as a brand you know or trust, go with what you know that way you won't feel like you wasted money on a shot in the dark.

If the prices are reasonable, then just buy some and try them out. If they are no good oh well they did not cost very much. what $3 big deal.
